The President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, Mr. Grzegorz Cessak, attended the 72^nd the European Medicines Agency’s Management Board session in London. During this meeting an election for the new Executive Director of EMA has been held. The winner is Mr. Guido Rasi. He will be officially appointed the new Executive Director of EMA after his hearing in front of the European Parliament Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety. Mr. Guido Rasi has previously been Director General of the Italian Medicines Agency and member of the EMA ‘s Management Board.
